The project
In Peterborough, Great Britain, a major redevelopment of a large building involved transforming the former university into a large apartment complex, alongside 4 other new costructed blocks. The ambitious project involved several bureaucratic steps, given the complexity of the plan and the numbers involved. Each apartment had to be connected to all seven external panels via intercom.
Analysis
As for the intercom system, the specialized designers determined that the Duo System would be the best technology for this installation. The Duo system also allows easily for renovations and offers a flexible solution, just as was needed in this situation.

The Guild House complex in Peterborough now consists of five blocks with a total of 138 apartments, each served by an Astro AT962 intercom and total 7 Solvo TD2000A outdoor stations. These Made in Italy products combine quality, reliability, and aesthetics. The real estate agent is very satisfied with the construction and operation, which is simple and reliable.
